Dual Enrollment

Interested in taking College courses while still in High School?

Jamison High School, in partnership with Lemoore College, is offering students the opportunity to take college courses while still in high school.

What is Dual Enrollment?

Dual Enrollment courses are college courses offered at the high school during regular school hours. Jamison High School students attending these courses earn high school and college credits concurrently. Final grades are posted on the high school and their college transcript. Credit transferability is dependent upon the course and the students’ college/university of acceptance.

Do the classes have a charge?

Classes are free while in high school and typically do not have textbook costs. If you are interested in participating in Dual Enrollment, please see Mrs. Vazquez at the JHS Administration Office

Dual Enrollment Process

Students will need to meet with the JHS counselor to discuss the courses offered at JHS Campus and other courses that may be available at the Lemoore College Campus. The JHS counselor will schedule a meeting with the Lemoore College Dual Enrollment Advisor. The JHS counselor will guide students through the application and registration process.

Note: Student, parents/guardians MUST complete Dual Enrollment Contracts and attend a Dual Enrollment Parent Night.

Parent Night: September 4th @5:00PM | Jamison High School
